A newly announced AES workshop on console research and development will feature panelists Bob Snelgrove from Digico, Don Wershba from Solid State Logic, and Kevin Kimmel from Yamaha.
The conference will offer a detailed walk-through of Maison Symphonique, home of l'Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, designed as one of the preeminent concert halls of its generation.
The AES 59th International Conference, with an emphasis on Sound Reinforcement Engineering and Technology, will take place July 15-17, 2015, at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. The event marks the first AES International Conference in more than 25 years dedicated to Large Scale Sound Reinforcement, Public Address and Live Sound -- and a number of special events are planned for the conference, including three offsite facility tours giving a taste of Montreal’s professional and academic audio community.
