Philips Signage Solutions, operated by Envision Peripherals Inc. (EPI), announces what it calls an "ultra-cost effective" 65-inch display, the BDL6520QL, for commercial digital signage, corporate conference room and education marketplaces.

"We’ve been seeing large-format displays demand grows rapidly in corporate conference room and lobby segment, besides the education segment."

—Glen Young, Senior Product Manager, Philips Signage Solution Division

The BDL6520QL is available for customer purchasing now in North America. According to Philips, it brings the affordable pricing benefit to digital signage customers that need large-size screens for displaying full high definition content with more information fitting in, and in addition to consumer-class pricing, the BDL6520QL is aligned with Philips Signage Solution by offering Philips’ “Smart Collection” features, including real-time content playback from a URL, auto-recovery failover to a local USB thumb drive, and seven-event day-part scheduling.

The BDL6520QL display is adding to Philips’ existing popular QL line and is backed by a three-year advanced exchange warranty.

“We’ve been seeing large-format displays demand grows rapidly in ... conference room and lobby segments, besides the education segment," Glen Young, senior product marketing manager for Philips Signage Solution division, reports. "The BDL6520QL is the perfect solution to not only fulfill these market segments’ needs, but also meet the budget control for [various] market segments. Customers don’t have to sacrifice the 70-inch range large-format displays in consumer display quality due to the budget constraints.”
