Richter+Ratner announces the hiring of AnaTracey Hawkins as vice president of strategy and development.
“AnaTracey’s real estate and construction industry experience, combined with her strong business knowledge, will support our firm’s continuing expansion in the large projects market, where Richter+Ratner’s expertise in addressing technical and logistical challenges benefits our clients the most. She will focus on long-term strategic planning and cultivating work opportunities in the educational and commercial markets, including both ground-up and interior fit-out work,” says R+R’s CEO and President Marc Heiman.

Established in 1912, R+R is one of the leading New York City builders with an impressive portfolio that includes numerous Manhattan landmarks. The firm is recognized by the real estate industry for its traditional approach to construction, based on the ancient Greek concept of arkhitekton, or master builder. This idea of bridging architecture, engineering, and construction processes into a streamlined and well-coordinated effort has defined R+R’s success throughout the decades. It has been proven to be the most efficient and cost-effective delivery method for some of the most challenging projects ever constructed in New York City.
Hawkins previously served as vice president of marketing for a major regional construction firm and was a co-founder of SNY-Newtown, a business development consultancy for the AEC industry. Her work as a marketing executive follows a successful career as a TV host, personal branding consultant, and facilitator for such luxury brands as Ferrari, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, BMW, Trinity Yachts, Ferretti Group Yachts, and Prada. She also served as a sales executive for Mondrian Residences/Morgans Hotel Group and the Crescent Heights development in Miami Beach, Fla.
Hawkins grew up in New Zealand in a family of real estate developers and construction entrepreneurs. She studied quantity surveying at Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland. She is a director on the board for the Young Leadership Council of Boys Town New York.
